DESCRIPTION:Solidarity Window\nWe invite you to participate in a Great Solidarity Project by enjoying a Gala Dinner with first class chefs and live performances. \nA magical night where everything is possible. \n  \nWhy this solidarity dinner?\nThis initiative arises from the collaboration between Palexco and the Adcai Foundation (Foundation for the support of children with acquired brain damage) in response to the need to renovate the children’s rehabilitation space of the Teresa Herrera Maternity Hospital to turn it into a Magic Forest: A more human\, welcoming and adapted environment for the little ones\, where they can feel safe\, calm and accompanied throughout their therapeutic process. \n  \nWhat does the project consist of?\nTo improve the experience of patients and family members who come to the Children’s Rehabilitation and Early Care Unit of the Teresa Herrera Maternal and Child Hospital. \nTo create humanized\, innovative spaces adapted to their needs. \nAdapt the waiting room and make it inclusive and safe\, according to the functional diversity of our patients. \nTo generate a global environment in the Unit that has a direct impact on their care process\, favored by a friendlier and closer environment. \n  \nChallenge of this Event\nTo convert the space into a safe\, quiet place that allows for peaceful play. DESCRIPTION:On December 10 and 11\, the city of A Coruña will host As Elixidas\, an international meeting that will bring together women mayors and councilors from Cape Verde\, Mozambique\, Brazil\, Galicia and other territories. Organized by the Fondo Galego de Cooperación y Solidariedade together with the City Council of A Coruña\, the event will take place at the Palacio de María Pita and the Palexco. Its main objective is to highlight the role of women in the local political arena and to foster collaboration to face the challenges of female leadership.   \nThe program of the conference seeks to promote female representation in politics and strengthen networks such as REFELA (Network of Local Elected Women of Africa). In Galicia\, of the 313 municipalities\, only 71 are led by women\, a reality that is also reflected in other participating countries. During the event\, topics such as the promotion of public policies for equality\, the challenges of local politics and tools to address political violence will be discussed.   \nThe initiative coincides with the International Human Rights Day\, celebrated under the slogan “Our rights\, our future\, now!
