SUMMARY:XVIII Mathematical Fair
DESCRIPTION:Since the year 2000\, the 12th of May is celebrated in Spain as School Mathematics Day and in Agapema\, in the area of A Coruña\, we celebrate it in a special way\, with a MATHEMATIC FAIR. \nThe Mathematical Fair is a day designed for the dissemination of Mathematics and aimed at students of Pre-school\, Primary\, ESO\, BAC and Vocational Training as well as Mathematics teachers and the general public. \nThe purpose of this event is to create an educational space in the mathematical field\, with the aim of:\n– To exchange knowledge\, experiences and procedures.\n– To show aspects of the process of learning and teaching mathematics in a non-formal\, free and spontaneous environment\, with the participation of children\, parents\, teachers and the general public.\n– To make society aware of the need to have a sufficient mathematical education that allows us to interpret elementary facts of the daily events.\n– To enjoy mathematics and to vindicate it in its practical\, playful and educational aspect. \nFor that we formulate the following objectives:\n– To deepen in the teaching-learning of Mathematics in the stages of Infant\, Primary and Secondary.\n– To use the different posts of FEIRA to achieve a mathematical\, playful\, practical and pleasant social intercommunication.\n– To show society aspects related to mathematics and to collect from it all its popular knowledge within this subject.\n– To link what is done in the classroom with reality and vice versa.\n– To encourage children and seniors to solve different problems. \n  \nSUMMARY OF INFORMATION LATEST EDITION: \n\nEdition: XVIII Feira Matemática\nMotto: “A maxia das Matemáticas”.\nDate:  March 22\, 2025\nSchedule: From 11:00h to 20:00h\nVenue: “Hall de Proa” Palexco\, A CORUÑA\nStudents: All stages\nParticipation: Group\n\nDeadline: Until March 8\, 2025 (or until full capacity is reached)\nRegistration: The registration period is open.
