SUMMARY:V International Workshop on Cardiomyopathies: Hyperthophic Cardiomyopathy 2025
DESCRIPTION:V International Workshop on Cardiomyopathies: HYPERTROPHIC CARDIOMYOPATHY 2025 will be held in Palexco\, A Coruña\, on September 18-19\, 2025. \nIn September 2025 we will resume\, with great enthusiasm\, the organization of this scientific meeting\, focused on HYPERTROPHIC MYOCARDIOPATHY. In recent years we have seen extraordinary advances in the diagnosis and treatment of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. Our aim is to highlight how the genetic understanding of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (and its gene-phenocopies: AMYLOIDOSIS and FABRY’S DISEASE) has led to new therapies including gene therapy and new pharmacological agents. Moreover\, these new treatments have changed the therapeutic scenario and could relegate other invasive treatments\, used until now\, to a secondary role. The format of the meeting will be based on short expert reviews combined with clinical cases that will open interesting discussions with the most prominent international leaders in these pathologies. We will have experts “from both sides of the Atlantic”: Argentina\, Australia\, Germany\, France\, Italy\, The Netherlands\, Portugal\, Spain\, United Kingdom\, USA\, etc. \nThis time we will also have the possibility of sending abstracts (for poster presentation) with prizes for the winners. \nAnd of course we will apply for European accreditation: European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®). \nHope to see you in A Coruña!!!!
