In recent years we have seen extraordinary advances in the diagnosis and treatment of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. Our aim is to highlight how the genetic understanding of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (and its gene-phenocopies: AMYLOIDOSIS and FABRY&#8217;S DISEASE) has led to new therapies including gene therapy and new pharmacological agents. Moreover, these new treatments have changed the therapeutic scenario and could relegate other invasive treatments, used until now, to a secondary role. The format of the meeting will be based on short expert reviews combined with clinical cases that will open interesting discussions with the most prominent international leaders in these pathologies.
